Epson Perfection V370 scanner

I am about to purchase an Epson perfection v370 scanner.
Does anyone know to get this scanner to work with Linux Mint 18.1

Where can I find drivers for it.

I have a lot of slides to scan and this scanner seems to get good
reviews for doing this type of work.

Epson's support pages 'say' that they don't provide support for linux,
but then the pages and links guide you to their support in the form of
.pdf (and html) docs and drivers.
